AHHHH!
Still need to go back through and check for mistakes, but expect to see the whole thing soon.

Only 2 layers?

I used more than that to make it, but the final product is one layer of line art and one layer of color blobs.

That’s horrifying

How so?

A bit more than a month. Took me about the same time for my GLE Photoshop drawing, but I didn’t include shadows/reflections.

Logged about 22 hours on this project since I started it in June. My goal for the next one is under 20, which I don’t think will be an issue.

Cool! I was only able to work on it in school during art class, because I’m too cheap for Photoshop. So that limited me to Mondays to Fridays, for 40 minutes at the most.

I remember those days! Creative Suite is not cheap. I went the first two years of college without my own copy, relying solely on seat time in the art dept. Mac lab to get my projects done.

And I also had to juggle other class projects simultaneously...

Just the lack of edit-ability. I prefer more layers in my work so I can adjust more stuff. I think you said it’s a more final version and for all I know you have a nice working file full of layers but seeing that much artwork on only 2 layers makes me cringe.

It’s not like it’s Photoshop. I can easily go back in and tweak any individual shape I need to.

That’s a fair point, I only looked at the layers not the AI in the top left. I was actually thinking you were in PS.
No where near as big of a deal being in AI.

Yeah, if I were working in Photoshop, there would definitely be more layers in the end product.
